Celebrating Country Cooking Month!

Yesterday I made steak in a cast iron skillet. It doesn’t get much more country than that. Maybe if that skillet were over a campfire.

This morning I made scrambled eggs and over-easy eggs with toast. I didn’t take any pictures as it was early and I was more focused on eating then on photographing this experience. Let me tell you…they were delicious!

Next weekend, I am going camping and planning on doing a lot more country cooking. If I think about it, I will take pictures and post them…I want to have a little ban on technology for my birthday camping trip, at least for one of the days, so maybe I won’t be updating you with pictures 🙂
