Happy Peach Month!

Today I enjoyed peach ice cream in honor of this stone fruit, but also did a lot of other fun stuff before that. Jason and I woke up early (way too early) and we drove to Bodega Bay in Marin County and visited the headlands and the bay. We also stopped for some clam chowder at The Tides. Then we drove back through the pastoral countryside to Spencer Battery. There we wound our way up the mountain and got some great views of the Bay Area and it’s bridges on a clear but windy mid-morning adventure.

Then we picked up Esperanza, Lito, and Dahlia at the airport and were on our way. After a short check-in we went to dinner with Lito’s friend Chris. We ate at Ragazza’s Pizza which was delicious. We had a variety of pizzas. Then we walked to Postcard Row and played at the Full House playground. We stopped at Bi-Rite Creamery on our way for a little treat. I had peach and salted carmel. Lito and Jason tried basil ice cream…blech! A nice end to a long day.
